Why passive aggressive notes never work out

Was reading on  a facebook post today about apartments and pets.
This for some reason reminded me the old apartment complex I lived at that someone was hanging up passive aggressive notes on all the mailboxes complaining  about people supposedly not  picking up dog feces after their pet went outside.

They actually went to trouble of making the comment “I don’t want my kids playing with dog feces while they’re outside! “

Someone then taped a note to the first note saying “then maybe you should teach your children not to pick up dog shit! “. 🤣
